    Mythic is a PvP magic game that allows you to build your own custom spells. The game uses a cute low poly art style.

    The Game

    First of all welcome, and thanks for checking out our post.Let's get into the game. Mythic will have 6 characters the player can choose from, each has its own elements they can use, giving every character unique spells. Think Overwatch with magic, well kind of.

    The game has 3 classes, DPS, Tank and Support. Each character will have spells based around their class. Allowing for more balanced a fair gameplay.

    Elements 
    Now, this is the meat and two eggs of Mythic. Mythic has a complex but easy to use spell system and allows for 1000s of unique spells to be made, allowing the player full freedom to make spells however they want. Let's put this into an example.

    The game has six base elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Order and Chaos, these elements can be used on their own or mixed to make a new element, For example, Fire and Earth make Lava and Air and Air make Air. Each element has its own ability. Lava is a slow-moving liquid that deals fire damage and air allows for players to return incoming enemy spells. 

    We have  27 elements all with their own ability. Hope I got how our system works across if you have any questions then ask away in the comments section. Let's keep going :D

    Shapes & Modifiers
    Players can then modify these elements by the way they are cast and add modifiers to change up what the elements do. For example, Barrier shapes allow for your element to be as used a barrier, ball shapes allow for the spell the be fired a ball projectile (There are more shapes in the game, these are just an example.). 

    After you have chosen how the spell should cast, you can then modify it. Add more damage/time or add a new effect, like the contagious modifier to the Poison element. Adding modifiers will grow the length of the cooldown, or stop other effects on the element.

    Players can take up to 4 spells in a match but can save decks of spells they like. The idea is that players play around and make different types of spells until they find the ones that work for them.

    The game will have a low poly art style.

    A Bit More Info

    As it is hard to get new players into a PvP game, the game will be free to play, with us making money from cosmetics items. We hate loot boxes, so players will be able to buy cosmetic items outright.

    Work has started on Mythic and a group of people are working on it now, with a number of assets, the spell system and particle system done. However, don't worry if you want to put your stamp on the game, nothing is set in stone yet.

    We're Organized

    We know what we're doing when it comes to things like this and have everything already organized. We have a GDD (Plan of the game), Trello pages and documents in place. We also have meetings every Sunday about the game and a work day on Saturday.

    My part

    I'll be managing the team and working on graphic design and UI for the game.

    Currently working on icons for the UI.

    (Expected) Revenue

    Hard to say, but you will get a cut of the money.

    Risks & challenges

    This is a rather big game, but the only risk of lack of motivation as the project moves on. However, this is the case for any project.
