Seez Multiplatform Game

    A game where players battle each other in attempt to capture the opponent's flag.

     

    Seez is a game in which team effort, strategic thinking and skilled fighting abilities are all ingredients of victory. Players spawn in a map with nine fellow teammates. On the opposite side of the map is another team just as thirsty to win as you are. When the game starts, your mission is simple: Capture the enemies flag! You have options. You can choose to play defensively and guard your own flag, embrace your inner savage and go for high killing sprees, or be a conquerer in the eyes of everyone as you seize the enemy's flag and victoriously bring it home to your base.

    Players aren't restricted to playing as one type of hero. New heroes are constantly being added into the game to spice things up. These heroes might include swordsmen, archers, mages, dragons, and many more. The possibilities are limitless.

    Throughout the map are placed powerups. These little commodities give you a huge advantage whenever you choose to use them. Some powerups increase your speed, while others make your hero deal more damage. Some even make you less visible to enemies.

    This teamup is intended to recruit talented artists to help with the development of this game.

    My part

    I am an experienced gameplay and networking programmer in C++ and C#. I am highly familiar with the Unreal and Unity engines. I will serve as the lead programmer for the project.

    My other specialty is game design. I will design most aspects of the project, and be involved with any issues or concerns regarding the games concept.

    Lastly, I do a bit of sound design. I may assist with some of the game audio.

    (Expected) Revenue

    The expected revenue for this project - based off of statistical research and logical reasoning - is well over $500,000 minimum. All members will have the opportunity to maintain a solid source of income.

    Risks & challenges

    Challenge:
    The primary challenge of developing Seez is acquiring funding to pay quality artists and developers. While we do have some talented artists and developers already, we need more.

    Solution:
    The solution to this problem is obvious. Take advantage of crowdfunding. If the Kickstarter is successful, we will have sufficient funding to employ talented artists and developers.

    Risk:
    One risk of the project is not being successful in getting the word out.

    Solution:
    However, through months of building a community around the game, and well-planned marketing strategies, this risk will definitely be avoidable.

      - Thorough knowledge in the art of modeling semi-detailed, fantasy style, quality character assets. - Must own legal copy of any modeling software, and Unity.

      As a 3D animator, you will be responsible for animating character movements, such as running, jumping, sword swinging, and more. And also prop movements, such as slightly swaying trees, and any other potential movements.
