Savage Strikers

    Brutal soccer battles set in a medieval fantasy universe.

    Savage Strikers(title is not final) is a fantasy soccer game based in a medieval fantasy universe. The basic soccer game play is inspired from the classic GameCube game, "Super Mario Strykers", but with attacking mechanics based on the fantasy race you choose to play as; as well as some other RPG-like mechanics. The game right now is planned as just single player against the AI, but multiplayer may come later. The game play feel is pretty casual, but with a high skill ceiling.

    The art style I want to go for is lowish poly, stylized, and hilariously brutal/gory. The truth is, I’m not an artist, and I’m very open to better art ideas and styles (as well as game mechanic ideas).

    My part

    I am the main developer and designer. I've been developing and designing this project using Unity for the last 3 months mostly by myself. I've built a fairly solid framework with modularity in mind. The core mechanics are 90% finished, and now I'm looking to expand on the visuals.

    I’m currently a full time development professional and very familiar with the development process.

    (Expected) Revenue

    The plan is to get to an alpha build and put the game on Steam as an early access release. Through game sales, we can reinvest the money into improving the game and split the remaining profit. We can also use this to improve the game based on player feedback.

    Risks & challenges

    With all development projects, the risks are standard. The game failing to gain traction in popularity may be the biggest. Through tight QA processes and play testing, I think we’ll be able to mitigate a lot of the risk.

    Hello i Know that you have been using unity but do you know how to use Unreal Engine 4? That is the engine that i use and i would be able to fill the programming position using C++ as the programming language.
