Project Tartarus

    A Mobile First Person Diablo-like Action RPG with Procedural dungeon and procedural loot spawn.

    Project Tartarus is an upcoming project by Trimatra Interactive, a first person portable dungeon crawler with procedural loot and dungeons to explore.

    Planned Release Platform : iOS, Switch, Xbox, PS4

    Engine : Unity 2018

    Story : Hundred years after the cataclysm, Hel consumed the world and transformed it into an inferno. Million people has been corrupted and the dead rose from their graves. Some people, which mysteriously cannot be corrupted, escaped deep to the earth. The Uncorrupted built cities underground, called themselves as the Dwellers of Tartarus. they avoid the corrupted overworld. Hel built countless dungeons and demonic crypt on Earth's Surface, he even build a great mechanized palace surrounded by dungeon overcrowded with undead and corrupted. Many have tried to fight Hel's armies but failed, and became corrupted. But, few mankind survives the overworld, they are called as Helldelvers. This brave people tries to fight back and scavenge for precious items left in the overworld. But all is not without risk. Many Helldelvers got caught and getting imprisoned under the Hel's Mechanized Palace, losing insanity then became corrupted. Player plays as one of the Helldelvers who dares to venture out and fight back Hel. Legends said a mysterious device buried deep under Hel’s fortress is his bane and the only way to defeat him.

    My part

    Hello ! I'm Ray, Lead of Trimatra Interactive and a level designer with more than 3 years of experience, both in real life architecture and videogame architecture. Worked on various project such as Gran Skrea Online. Im inviting you to join a planned project that holds a lot of potential.

    My part inside the team will be leading and directing the development as well as being a level designer and draft concept artists.

    (Expected) Revenue

    The revenue will come through Indiegogo or Partnership with a mobile publisher, and through the selling of early access by utilizing Patreon.

    Risks & challenges

    The main risk of doing a remote team project is the commitment, many indie project fails due to the lost of interest of the devs itself to finish the game and lack of commitment of the team member. So our biggest challenge is to maintain high commitment to the project with the same goal and willingness to finish the game.

      Function description

      As a lead programmer your task will be to manage the programmers as well as tackling major programming task and also helping the programmers if theres any problem ( Every candidate will be tested for a week, if all requirements met they will be lifted as lead programmer and get all benefits of being a lead programmer )

      - knowledge of Unity Programming - able to lead and command the programmers with responsibility - able to tackle major programming task - able to discuss with gameplay designer and the rest of the team - high commitment and having the spirit of "labor of love"

      Function description

      As a programmer, you will tackle tasks related to programming like the gameplay, AI, etc. As a programmer you also need to work together with the lead programmer to organize stuff properly.

      Able to tackle environmental 3D modelling task, can work closely with Level Designer, and have an artistic feel also know how to optimize model for mobile without sacrificing quality.

      Requirements

      - Able to work using 3D modelling software ( Blender, Maya, Max, or equivalent ) - know the workflow of delivering a good quality 3D Model with optimized meshes for mobile and console. - Have Artistic feel and a good sense of proportion - Hard surface and organic modelling know how. - Portofolio ( please attach portofolio upon applying or email to trimatrainteractive@gmail.com ) Ability to concept is a great plus and will be considered
