    FPS mmoRPG online game set 150 years in a dog eat dog cyberpunk world.

    The game is set 150 years in the future. Hong Kong has succeeded from China with the help of the Western and Russian powers to break the Chinese hold, setting off a chain of events leading to Hong Kong creating a faster than light travel system and dominating earth space, turning into a fascist, capitalist, communist government for protection.

    Mankind is beginning its slow reaching grasp into the stars, with the Hong Kong government, relabelling itself the United Colonial Council, keeping tight controls on human settlement off of earth. In this cyberpunk dystopian world, the player takes on the role of one of ten factions.

    Federal Security Agency - The police, there to enforce the tyranical will of the UCC. Colonial Defence Force - The Army, to bring down the iron fist on those opposing the might of the UCC. Four mega corporations, each vying for administration of resources of the expanding human colonies. Terra Mining Corporation, New World Enterprises, Omin Sino incorporated and Pan Eurasian Union/Anglo group technologies. Joint Mercenary Corps - Mercenaries for hire, taking any contract to make a living. The Underground - A vast network of organised crime, moving in the shadows to undermine everyone they can. Universal Freedom Alliance - Activists against the exploitation of the common man by the UCC, criminal gangs and mega corporations, using terroist methods to achieve their goal.

    We have a talented team of 10+ people, so training can be given.

    We are aware we are offering royalties and asking for a lot of time. A project like this won't be completed if we are averaging a model a month unless we have about 100 people, so some level of time devotion, even if it's just a day or half a day will be greatly appreciated.

    My part

    I've been working on this for 2 and a half years now. My role has specialised in that time from lead designer and jack of all trades to developing my skills with unreal blueprints, c#, mysql and c++. The following game is based on an old game called Face of Mankind, which is what has given me the drive to push myself to continue working on such a huge task. The gain in new skills has been rewarding in itself.

      We always need more modellers to join the team and create.

      Requirements

      Knowledge of substance painter and commercial version. Use of Blender or having commercial versions of 3d modelling software used. Knowledge of modelling techniques, such as baking high poly normals to low poly. Able to UV unwrap effectively. Able to create at least 1 model a week, textured.
