Killer Kitchen

by Arron Davies

A Virtual Reality game in which players cook or cheat their way to becoming the universes number one chef.

Killer Kitchen is a Virtual Reality game in which players face head to head to become the universes number one chef.

Players prepare by chopping, cutting and cooking their food as well as their opponent to reach the top of the leader board. By sabotaging the other contestants players gain a higher chance at winning, however, they better look out, if they cause too much trouble the others might exact revenge.

Players have to cook the perfect meal for the judges while warding off any attacks coming from players in adjacent kitchens by using the utensils at their disposable such as frying pans to whack! stuff back at the enemy.

There are many ways to sabotage another player, you can sneak ingredients into their dish when they are not looking or straight up pour that mysterious liquid into the pan while looking them straight in the eye.

If you don't want to mess with their food try cooking up a storm(literally) or brewing up a spaghetti monster to send their way.

    My part

I will be overseeing the development of the project as well as managing public relations such as social medias and any questions of those who are interested in the game. I will also be contributing to the programming as that is where I am best suited. I would also like to help with art, however, that is not really my area and someone who is more experienced would likely better suit this.

    (Expected) Revenue

If you are here just for money then this is not a teamup you should join. This project is currently a hobby, however, if everything goes well I would love to sell the game to the public and I am more than willing to give the final team their share of all sales. The percentage each of us get and the retail price of the game will be determined as a collective.

If this project is well received by the public at the beginning then I am more than willing to list this project as a crowd funding campaign to help speed up development and prepare for future costs such as server upkeep and maintenance. If this is the case I am more than willing to pay people if they are dedicating hard time into this project.

    Risks & challenges

    - I have not conducted much research into how well this game will be received by the public, this means that I have no idea if people would want to buy it or just play it.

    - The Virtual Reality market is still very much not accessible to everyone meaning that if the game was to be sold it would definitely have less sales compared to your standard non virtual reality game.

    - This is a teamups project and well non of us will know each other. At the start non of us will know how each individual likes to work or their vision for the future of the game/team and well that can cause some issues. This is not really a big challenge as it can be easy to sort out these small issues and all it requires is a bit of co-operation.
