My Hero Academia Beyond

    We want to publish a MyHeroAcademia game from fans for fans and we need your help to do this any time soon!

    Our aim is it to publish a My Hero Academia Open-World game with many playable characters and maybe even some fanmade ones. The endproduct will contain: A battlesystem (obviously), many individual quirks and characters, a levelingsystem and a indiviual quirktree for every character (allows them to strengthen their quirks), quests and much more. Because everyone of us is doing this out of passion we can not work as fast as official game studios, but even because of this we want to recruit new members for our team.

    We are using Unreal Engine 4 to develop the game.

    My part

    I am actually one of the leading gamedev's and my job is it to bring everything together in code (and blueprints) and with 'everything' I mean 3D models from our 3D artists, ideas from our teammembers and the community itself.

    (Expected) Revenue

    Actually nothing. Yep that's it.... Well it might be obvious, but I'd like to explain it here: This game is a fangame and we don't own the franchise itself and because of that we are not allowed to sell the game for actual money. But YOU will gain experience working in a team and training your skills.

    Risks & challenges

    Because it is a fangame there is a slight chance of it all being cancelled by the original owner of the franchise or other companies who own the right to make profit out of it. We have contancted Horikoshi himself, but did not get any answer (So until not we aren't doing anything forbidden).

      Function description

      Now you are one of our 3D artists, which means that your job is it to sculpt and model 3D characters from the manga-/animeseries in a way which is suitable for a game. The exception here is that our goal is not as lowpoly as possible, because the anime material only works on highpoly models. But be aware that weight painting, rigging and animating might also be one of your tasks.

      Requirements

      Experience in 3D modeling (with blender, maya or something similar) and spare time. If you know how to rig and animate that will be useful too.
