    An adventure, plat-former and RPG. The primary inspiration come from Darksiders 2 and Zelda.

    Max is the story of a boy trying to save a girl. At least that's all he can remember. Join Max on his journey to find Max and uncover the truth behind his memory loss. This game features platforming, dynamic combat, climbing, dungeon crawling and of course... item management!

    My part

    I am a programmer and a pretty decent level designer. While I don't have any modeling skills I can code this entire game on my own. I will also take on the roles of Project Manager and Lead Designer. I will make use of a scrum board and discord for communication. GitHub will be our repo for the project and is what we will use to share changes. The game will be build in Unity3D. The development of this game has already begun and is up on GitHub. I need a talented artist to help this game ship.

    (Expected) Revenue

    All revenue from the game will be from sales on steam.
    We will also be pursuing investors whether it be crowd funding or a more traditional route.

    Risks & challenges

    The risk is one we take as indie developers, and we hope a project gets finished. I hope through clear direction, and good management that this will be my first released game.

      Function description

      You will be in charge of creating character models and level set pieces. The majority of the environment I already own and we can certainly make beautiful levels with them. But to really make a game stand out I need your skills to make custom art.

      Requirements

      You should have a clear understanding on how to build a game and create beautiful 3D models. The software you choose to use is irrelevant just as long as you can export as a FBX or OBJ file. As for your experience I would just like to see some of your work you a have done in the past. The actual art style of the game is low-poly and cartoon with an emphasis on bright colors and lighting. You don't need any Unity3D experience but that would be a huge plus.

      We are looking for a Concept Artist to join our team. We currently have 3 3D artists. Help them bring our Pro Builder mock ups to life! Draw out design specifications (theme, setting and structure will be given to you) and work with environment artists to give the game a unique and artistic feel.

      Requirements are simple: Be a decent artist who loves old Nordic settings. Be passionate about your work.

      Function description

      Our game is a Nordic action adventure game that takes a ton of inspiration from Zelda and Darksiders 2. If you would like to work on this game and design levels that have meaning, structure and narrative, then apply to this project! You will work closely with me and our awesome writer to establish level theme, and objectives and then build an awesome mock up using Unity Pro Builder! Mechanics - Platforming, RPG Climbing, jumping and puzzles are a big part of this game.

      Requirements

      Must be familiar with Level Design concepts and philosophies. Must be closely familiar with Unity. You should be at least some what familiar with Pro Builder. If not that is okay, it is not hard to learn. You should be familiar with light baking and using assets created by our artists to finish a level.

    Hi, Your project sounds quite interesting to me, since I am an enthusiast with 3D Modelling, RPGs and nordic culture, but could you give some more insight on what kind of nordic influence you are talking about? Are you referring to historic skandinavia as a reference or a more fantastic 'viking' type of design? From the image shown on the front page I couldn't really figure it out.

    Thanks! Yeah the image you see is an early screen shot while we were trying to figure out our art direction. We are still working on that. As far as the Nordic influence goes it is more of "fantastic viking". The game doesn't actually take place in our world so as far as rules on that goes, we are flexible. The people who live there have a viking like culture and architecture. That doesn't mean most of the game takes place in huts though. It's bigger and more beautiful. Very similar to Darksiders 2.

    Alright, that sounds good. I just wouldn't really feel confident with an accurate recreation of historic viking nordic culture, but I think I'm qualified for this project. So I'll send a join request and some examples of my stuff once I'm back at home (currently on vacation, not much internet access).
