    I am currently working on a game, but at the development rate and school I need help to complete it!

    The project at hand is a Horror game, I can't discuss anything that will explain storyline, gameplay, mapping etc, i'll give you a NDA to sign then I can inform you on the project, what I can say is what I am doing. I am developing a Horror game in Unity using the following software: Cinema 4D (3d Modelling/Animation) Unity(Game engine) Photoshop(GUI/Texturing) Audacity(Most of the game audio might switch to Adobe Audition) Blender(Character rigging) MakeHuman(Character suite, going to hire a character artist after to replace models). It is a horror game that emerges the player into the storyline, location and characters it uses a number of methods to scare, cause fear and make the player question what is happening. I am not making it scary to a point you would be sat up all night with the light on crying in the corner but scary to a point where you would jump out your seat. One of these optional methods the player can choose is through Hypnosis, I have a highly trained person with 10+ years experience in hypnosis happy to help me with the project and fine to record the audio tracks for it. I myself have written scripts, storyline, lore and much more ready for this game and I haven't come in empty handed I have been developing for 1-2 months now and made good progress on it. Currently developing core features, maps will not be done yet but what I have available in the game is below (won't be showing too much due to I don't want the project to be copied I need to get copyright on it. And the start menu has been left out, no models are finali)

    My part

    My part in this project will be team leader and developer, I can take on many roles in this project and I do not want to fix people onto one area of the project for example I can 3d model and program but I'm not good at music production so I would take on both 3d modelling to help the artist and programming to help increase the usability of the game. I would manage over the team and set certain deadlines for each part for example if a new system was to be implemented we would all chat of how long it would take to implement that and then discuss how much time we would have as cutting space where we can take a break. Also I will be taking part in promotion, I have a set plan for this using various platforms to help promote it, I will help working on promotional material. Another thing I will do is help out with anyone that needs help to make it to a deadline, with this it would help make sure each member is at a point where what their part they are working on is finished.

    (Expected) Revenue

    The expected revenue isn't predicted yet due to nothing being released so I do not know how many people would be in the game and I do not know what the exact price is yet. I am hoping with the method of advertising the game I have I can pull in at least 10,000 sales. This game will be published on steam, and I am planning for a console release a month after, it gives me time to revise the control scheme and adapt it for console use. I would take a 20% cut minimum of the money earned but if there are less members to share around the money earned I will take a higher percentage, I am aiming for at least 4-7 members on the team meaning a fair share in profits for 4 people and if we get 7 people then the profits can be shared.

    Risks & challenges

    There are many risk and challenges when going into game development especially with copyright issues here is a list of risks:
    - A copyrighted company is accidentally used
    - Somebody falsely claims copyright against the game
    - The project doesn't get finished
    - The game has issues slowing down production
    - The game doesn't get enough popularity
    There are more that can be listed but I find these very unlikely

    Challenges:
    - The game has a lot of work to be done on it
    - Getting backed on kickstarter
    - Getting all of the required team members for the project
    - Getting popularity
    - Making sure we can keep it up-to-date with each build
    - Making sure everything works.

      Function description

      The programmer needs to have a copy of visual studio 2015+, the role of the programmer is to code a lot of the games core mechanics and the games triggers. For example a script to trigger cutscenes or a new lighting system. The role of this member is to work with others when creating functions for the game this member needs to be able to develop new systems in C# for the game. Also this person needs to be able to work in the team and do scripts at request (most likely make a queue system). The programmer needs to also be a person who can work under pressure and work to a discussed deadline in order for the game development to progress, they must be able to fix errors in scripts and be able to check over mistakes even when there aren't errors but the item isn't function correctly.

      Requirements

      The programmer needs the following: - Visual Studio 2015+ we don't use mono develop due to it's unreliability. - Extensive knowledge of C# with at least 2+ years experience - Extensive knowledge of Unity scripting - Skype - Unity

      Function description

      The 3D modeler is quite an intensive role, they are required to be able to do a handful of jobs such as 3d modeling cars all the way to 3d modeling houses, they need to be adaptable to their work and what is required for the level at hand. They need to be able to work in various software's. What is expected of the 3D Modeler: - To be able to 3d model objects fast - To be able to work under presure - To be able to work with other team members - To be able to 3D model houses - To follow a level design and do concept models - To be able to create 3d models for artwork use. - You will not be expected to 3d model humans or characters due to that being quite a hard task and a lot of effort put in for it.

      Requirements

      The current requirements are: - A copy of one of the following - 3DS Maya - Cinema 4D - Blender (preferably not blender due to cubic low poly form) - A 3D editing suite - Experience 3D modelling 1+ years required or proof of what you can 3d model to a level - A creative mindset - Skype

      Function description

      The sound effects artist is a member who will work on all the audio to the game (ex. music), they will work on the sound engine with the programmer to create many sound effects set up to play at the right times, you will also work with voice actors (once hired) to work on environment sounds e.g echo, etc. Another thing that you will work on as a sound effects artist is the environment sounds, you will work on how footsteps sound when you walk on a different area such as concrete to grass or grass to wood.

      The sound effects artist requires the following: - A audio editing suite - A high quality microphone - Experience in Audio editing - Unity in order to work on the sound engine - Skype

      Function description

      The Texture/Artwork Artist is a person who can edit and create textures from images and from scratch, they will need to be able to work on artwork as well with graphic design past. They will also be working on texture maps e.g Normal Maps, Displacement Maps etc. The Texture/Artwork artist is a person who can create artwork no matter the design type they can work in a team to create high quality work that will looks well and make a game look good also they will be able to redo the current textures in place.

      Requirements

      The Texture/Artwork Artist needs the following: - Have a copy of Photoshop of a high quality image editing suite - Atleast 1+ years experience in the application. - Needs to be able to create textures from nothing of from images - Needs to be able to draw well - Needs to be able to work on artwork for the game - Skype - Needs to be able to work in a team - Unity to test textures on objects.

      Function description

      The animator will be working on the animations for the characters, 3d models, cutscenes and cameras. They will be creating high quality animations that can be ported over to unity for use, they will need to be able to setup and create cutscenes for the game using a different suite from unity. They will work with the 3D modeler and other team members on cutscenes and scene placement.

      Requirements

      The Animator will be require the following: - A animation suite - 2+ Years Experience in animation - Skype - A creative mindset - Be able to work in a team - Be able to work under pressure
