    A casual multiplayer exploration experience; Beastpath is a one-of-a-kind game with stunning visuals.

    Beastpath is a game geared towards casual gamers. There is no combat, as we want people to make friends as they play.

    Gameplay consists of exploring the map and collecting items in order to unlock new playable characters, as well as skins, emotes, special abilities and effects.

    You will be able to chat and interact with other players on the map and show off your newest unlock. Some objects on the map will require more than one player in the vicinity to give players collectibles, so bring your friends!

    My part

    My name is Miriam, and I am the lead artist and game designer for Beastpath.

    Beastpath is a unique game. It's about creating experiences with the people you meet in a vast world of colorful nature. You play as a creature, such as an otter, or perhaps a deer, and traverse the world of Beastpath in search of collectible items.

    You won't be alone. Team up with other players to find artifacts, fossils, maybe even a bird feather hidden around the map; collect enough of these and you will unlock a new creature to play!

    The goal is simple. The possibilities are endless. All we need are friendly game designers who can get Beastpath online and functional as a future published game.

    (Expected) Revenue

    We are an ambitious team, fully expecting to publish Beastpath. All assets will be created by me and our secondary 3D modeler.

    As soon as Beastpath has multiplayer and functional gameplay assets, we will go to Early Access on Steam in order to invite more players and gain revenue as we polish the game for release.

    All developers will get a share of the revenue no matter how successful the game.

    If Beastpath is successful, we will be updating regularly with new content and fixes.

    Risks & challenges

    Revenue will range from low to high depending on the success of the game. With a small team with a low budget there are always risks; we want to do our absolute best to make sure our efforts are rewarded.

    If we find it is necessary, we will take the project to Kickstarter in hopes of gaining extra funds, though we expect to make all of our revenue from Steam sales.

      Function description

      Beastpath will have a lot of animals running around, and they need to make noise. The sound engineer will be responsible for creating unique vocalizations and footsteps for each playable animal, as well as ambient sound effects.

      Can produce good quality sound effects for use in Beastpath.
