This Insane Place

by Aaron Stump

I'm currently a Game Design student at Full Sail University. Having a published title is a huge step in.

The game is still in development and design. It's a horror game where a mentally ill patient that escaped the hospital years ago goes back and gets trapped there by demons. He must escape once again from the hospital and then find all the missing pieces in the woods to get out. (I'm still working on the GDD and the team will receive the document for development. Everything is not set in stone and subject to change.) I'm friendly to work with however, I take Game development serious as this is a career choice. So please, if you're doing this as just a hobby and do not take this serious don't apply.

    My part

I will manage the project and make sure everything is going the right way. I also will be doing the level design and game design. This game will be published on steam as I already have a developer partnership with steam. I will also be doing the marketing to make sure the game sales when and after release.

    (Expected) Revenue

This will be put on Kickstarter asking for around 1,000$. This will be split along the team depending on what role you play and the marketing budget will be taken out before splitting. It will also go towards assets and music for the game. So, if there is any money out of that then it will be split accordingly. Once the game is near finished we will discuss price for sale and work out money from there. Depending on what your role and how much time you put in will determine amount split. Contracts will be sent out before you start the project.

    Risks & challenges

    Risks
    1. Takes longer than expected.
    2. Not finding a team that is dedicated.

    Challenges
1.Finishing the game done before Jan/2018
    2. Marketing
