    Single player RPG with possibility of multiplayer. Space Exploration focused on story and discovery.

    Space exploration has been at the peak of our interest, the void housing many mysteries, some believe it may be holding the answers. In 2070 humanity makes a breakthrough in medicine, making humans elongate their life spans. Human’s now age at a slower rate and live to be 190. After making this discovery, NASA is liquidated and the International Space Academy is created and training 400 cadets from across the globe to begin a great journey into the deep void. The first 3 ISA cadets to pass are put in a prototype ship hypothetically capable of withstanding even the strongest of gravity forces. With one mission, to travel as far as possible, and make the journey back safely. The main goal is to fully test the capabilities of the craft, fuel efficiency, solar protection durability, travel limits, and surveying the surroundings of our system.

     

    Are we meant to sail the galaxy, are we capable of exploring even further beyond, are we alone.


    Ezequiel a technician accompanied by Adam Wilhelm a German engineer, Naoko Akiyama a Japanese botanist and Aleksei Leonov a Russian chemist will all venture out conducting the test. These 3 individuals will be embarking on a possible suicide mission. Not only are these 3 individuals traveling on a prototype spacecraft. They are using an experimental Near Speed of  Light drive that has seen its fair share of failures. But if successful this will not only be a giant step for man, but a test to be engraved in our history as a civilization.

    My part

    I will be researching and creating ways to improve and diverse our game from the competitors. Create plans, and manage social media, give input and help with art, and level design. I have some experience in both 3Ds Max and Unity, for the most part I will be establishing the roadmap for our project. I specialize in graphic design whilst developing my current skills as a 3D modeller and concept artist.

    (Expected) Revenue

    Revenue expectations will be kept low until further along the project. Revenue will be split evenly among the roles and determined by income.

    Risks & challenges

    Since their is no invested income from the participants other then me the lead creative designer. The risks are hours of passion and headaches, migraines and caffeine.

    Challenges come with the project, as an indie sized group creating a nearly AAA, visually and absorbing world within the project. Creating a universe that lingers even off the computer and seeps into your thoughts within your daily life.

      Function description

      Create story telling environments, whether organic or artificial of origin. Pay attention to detail and poly count, we can make a visually appealing game with low poly's for greater optimization.

      Requirements

      Adequate at 3D modelling skills or familiar with using modular assets to develop an optimized scene in Unreal Engine.

      Function description

      Bring life to assets and animations by bringing the very game to life with responsive game mechanics and story telling triggers and reports. Choices and consequences being utilized properly and creating a game that tailors to the player.

      Requirements

      Knowledge of both C++ and Blueprinting is a plus! Either knowledge of C++ or Blueprinting in Unreal. Fixing and optimizing code to create fast, fluid responsive game mechanics.

      Function description

      Create optimized and detail oriented assets, touching up or utilizing studio bought assets to be more efficient. Utilize a model whilst creating variants to reduce time and workload while achieving variety. Aid environmental artist in small detail work when possible and if needed. Present any advice, opinions or troubles with studio lead.

      Requirements

      Adequate skill in 3ds Max/Maya preferably. Adequate skills in any industry level 3D Modelling program. Adequate texture mapping skills, UV optimize capabilities.

      Function description

      Create the mood that will help bring out the tense, emotional and story driven world that is our project. Build ambient sound effects, basic and general sound effects to be utilized in game.

      Requirements

      Be able to create awing and tense music. Create shepard risset glissando sounds. Build story ambiance and general sound effects.
